Rode the trail from Newaygo sports park to Chase yesterday and had a
great ride. We went 50 miles before we saw any other sleds
(everydody watching football?) Great job grooming and great food at
Chase Creek Smokehouse. Put on 170 miles with light snow all day and
perfect conditions!
We’re from Ohio and just got back from riding in the Harrison/Leota/Houghton Lake area. This has been the best I’ve seen over Christmas/New Years in many years. Simply awesome.
Kudos to all you groomers out there. Terrific Job !!
Snow and Weather: Hello All and Happy New Year!
I just wanted to do a quick update since its been a few days.
The last day or 2 we have gotten several inches of snow and it is remaining cold so the trails are in great shape right now. We did not get hit with too many riders this past week and the groomers are out so the trails are in very good riding shape. Now, hopefully the weather will continue to cooperate.
