The historical Ranch Rudolf will take you back in time with it’s “Way Out West” feel as you drive through the main entrance.
All of our motel rooms are the same size and have the same amenities; they only vary in terms of how they are decorated as well as by bed set-up. All rooms will accommodate between 2 and 4 people, depending on beds. Rooms that accommodate 4 people would either have a double bed and a set of bunk beds or 2 double beds. Maximum capacity per room is 4 people. Rooms are assigned on the day of check-in based on the total number of people per room.
All Motel Rooms have bedding and linens provided. Rooms also have coffee makers and ice buckets with an ice machine located inside the main lodge. We do not have televisions, telephones or refrigerators in any of the rooms.
The main lodge-dining room has a western theme, from the high vaulted ceilings to the hard wood floors and the huge circular fireplace. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our guests. Offering cookouts or buffets to larger groups and catering for Company Outings, Wedding Receptions or larger events.

Accommodations at Drummond Island Resort are unique and plentiful. Our golf pro shop transforms into our Winter Sports Center each winter, where we have cross country skis, snow shoes, ice skates and tubes (all free to guests). In addition, we rent 10 Arctic Cat snowmobiles where guests enjoy nearly 100 miles of groomed island trails and access to the International Ice Bridge which connects Drummond Island to Canada. Located on the Platte River, Sunny Woods offers a variety of lodging accommodations ranging from clean, comfortable motel rooms to cabins, and campsites. Every motel rooms has a small refrigerator, microwave oven, in-room coffee, phone, cable television and air conditioning. Rooms are available with either a single, queen-size bed or two, full-size beds. The heated, full-size swimming pool and kids play areas are located on the resort and available for all the motel room guests. The onsite convenience store is open evenings if you desire a quick snack before relaxing for the night.
